乌鸡白痢病的研究

本文对甘肃省初次引进的乌鸡群进行白痢病的研究。结果表明,自然发生的雏鸡白痢病,其死亡率可达67.24％,采取适当的防制措施后,死亡率可降至3％。用全血玻片凝集反应试验进行全群成年鸡检疫,阳疑率为2.66％(6.9％—1.36％)。11.8％的阳疑鸡出现卵巢病变,从全部病料均可分离出鸡伤寒—白痢沙门氏菌(Sgp)。本文首次报导了58％的阳疑乌鸡从其粪便内周期性排菌,因此定期检疫,淘汰阳疑鸡是防止本病水平传播的一项重要措施。

Studies on Salmonella Pullorum Disease in Black Bone Chicks

Salmonella pullorum disease(SPD) was studied in a farm in which Wugu chicks (Black Bone Chicks, BBC) were reared. BBC is a native breed that is used medically and is imported in Gansu province, The results indicated that the mortality rate reached 67.24% in spontaneous outbreak of SPD, however it reduced to 3% when control measares were taken. All flocks of adult BBC were tested by Rapid Blood Agglutination Test(RBAT), the positive and doubtful rate in flocks Of BBC was 2.66%(1.36～6.9%). Ovaries with gross lesions accounted for 11.8% of positive and doubtful reactors (PDR) and salmonellae were isolated from all of them. Fifty eight per cent of adult PDR periodically excreted salmonellae in their droppings. This phenomenon was first reported in this paper. Therefore, serological test was regularly carried out and whole PDR were culled from all flocks. It is considered that the measures mentioned above are very important for preventing horizontal transmission of SPD in BBC flocks.
