Effect of Straw Returning in Wheat-rice Rotation on Wheat Yield in Longkang Farm

[Objective]The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of straw returning on wheat yield in rice wheat rotation area of Longkang farm.[Method]In the field conditions,three treatments were set up,including full straw returning,half straw returning and no straw returning.The effects of different straw returning amount on wheat yield under the wheat-rice rotation system in Longkang farm were studied.[Result]Except for the number of effective panicles slightly lower,the other indexes of straw returning treatment were higher than those of straw returning treatment,and the yield was about 1500 kg/hm² higher than that of total straw returning treatment.[Conclusion]Straw returning in wheat-rice rotation reduced wheat yield in Longkang farm.
