| Abstract: | We have cloned the cDNA encoding LPL and studied its mRNA expression and enzyme activity in the ovary of European sea bass in order to investigate a possible role of this enzyme in the incorporation of neutral lipids into the oocytes. The results suggest that LPL is likely to play an important role in this process. |
