Weeds —influences of weed vegetation in ipm and non-chemical weed control

Weed vegetation can have both detrimental and beneficial effects on populations of aphids and their natural enemies. Examples are given of these effects in relation to aphid and virus problems of vegetable crops. Important factors in these relationships are discussed and possible lines of future research are indicated.
