Abstract:【Objective】The study on milk yield and feeding benefit was carried out by feeding different compounded fed to milk buffalo according to the current situations of fed shortage and nutrient lack.【Method】There were 3 different compound fed treatments including 10 heads F1of Murrah×local buffalo in each treatment.The culture benefit was analyzed according the input and output during the 100-day trail period.【Result】The daily milk yield and net income were 6.17 kg/head and 17.35 yuan/h in Medicago sativaco group(fresh Medicago sativa 15 kg + compound fed 2 kg + rice straw 2 kg/h/d),which were significantly higher than that of Lolium perenne group(fresh Lolium perenne 15 kg/h/d + compound fed 2 kg/h/d + rice straw 2 kg/h/d) and corn silage group(silage 15 kg/h/d + compound fed 2 kg/h/d + rice straw 2 kg/h/d).【Conclusion】Medicago sativa had high nutrient value and nice palatability,which could effectively increase the milk yield and feeding benefit of dairy buffalo.It could be extended in Yunnan dairy cattle industry.
