Abstract:The advances in the research of coconut leaf beetle (Brontispa longissima (Gestro) including its biology, quarantine, chemical and biological control were reviewed. Plant quarantine is the most effective method in preventing the invasion of coconut leaf beetle, but only integrated control methods can solve the problem of its damage.
