| Abstract: | A new naphthopyrone dimer was isolated from the capitula of Paepalanthus bromelioides by chromatographic procedures. It structure was deduced from spectrometric data. On colorimetric assay for cytotoxicity the new dimer showed IC50 of 55.9 microM. |
