植物园规划设计中几个问题的探讨

<正> 近年来,我国各地恢复、创建并正在筹建不少植物园。植物园在科研和科普工作方面取得不少成绩,为社会主义建设事业做出了贡献。同时,万紫千红、景色宜人的植物园也是大量游人和宾客向往的游览胜地。植物园在外观上往往是环境宁静、风景如画的游览休息场所。然而,其主要作用是进行植物的引种驯化,选种和育种工作,是园林植物实践方面的科学研究机构,同时也是科普教育的园地。它既不同于单纯教学用的标本园、生产用的果园或苗圃,又有别于开展文化娱乐活动和游览休息用的公园。植物园应该是植物丰富多彩、风光明媚,既有科学内容又具园林外貌的的公共绿地。

ON THE PLANNING AND DEsIGN OF BOTANIC GARDENS

The history of botanic garden in China is much shorter than that in Europe,though China is called "Mother of Gardens" by some westerners.Since the founding of the people's Republic,many botanic gardens have been set up,still others are being in preparation.It is necessory to discuss some problems appeared in plannig and designing botanic gardens.Thus,several principles are established as follows,1.Planning and design for botanic gardens need cooperation of both landscape architects and botanists.2.Concerning several biological factors,such as water,soil,etc.,the authors emphasized that the choise of site for the botanic garden is of vital importance.3.Both scientific contents and artistic appearance must be considered in planning and design of botanic gardens.4.The road system of the botanic garden must satisfy the visitors leading them to visit every part of the garden interested by them.
