| Abstract: | The status of production and ecology in hilly red soil region of southern Hunan,the significance of developing forage grass,the natural conditions in the region and the problems were discussed.The progress of forage study in recent years in this region was summarized.The mode of developing forage grass industry in the region was presented. |
