Research on the Social Relief Legal System in Anhui Rural Areas

The market economy development challenges the social relief system in Anhui rural area, which must be reformed based on its own characteristics. Government should bear the major responsibility with the principle of equity priority and efficiency consideration. The establishment of Essential Living Standard Security Systems as the foundation with the Subsidiary Social Assistance System is necessary in current Anhui rural social relief system. Simultaneously, the rural social relief with social participation is to be enhanced to increase the efficiency of social relief.
