The construction of the neo- democratic society is an inseparable part for the transition of China to the socialism society. But soon after the establishment of PRC, the theory and practices of the neo- democracy aborted for the impact from all kinds of factors home and abroad. The domestic reasons of such change are three: firstly, the neo- democracy had no long- term basis of practice; secondly, the leaders of first generation had jejune view on what the socialism is and how to construct it; thirdly, the choice of economic construction mode was uncertain after the establishment of PRC.
