Advances in theory of disturbance and species diversity preservation

As a fundamental theory of scientific research, the preservation mechanism of species diversity plays an important role in protecting and sustainablly using of biodiversity. Disturbance is a major factor of species diversity preservation. The interaction between disturbance and species diversity was discussed through reviewing some internal and external key references. Research advances of species diversity preservation were introduced. The theory framework about mechanism of biodiversity was probed. Intermediate Disturbance Hypothesis is a major theory. Disturbance has great influence on species coexistence in a community. Because disturbance affects on resource availability, which result in species of different history competition or share on resource. Small-scale disturbance is a major factor of preservation of species diversity in a forest community.
