| Abstract: | Drought and water-soil losses are the main causes for the uncoordinationof the agricultural ecosystem as well as the serious obstacles for the develop-ment of agricultural production in the Loess Plateau region. Through surveyingthe utilization conditions of agricultural water resources and investigatingthe results of scientific researches done on the agricultural utilization of waterresources in such provinces as Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Henan etc. 1ocated in the Loess Plateau region, the author made a Preli-minary approach to the rational utilization and effective tapping of the region's ngricultural water resources with an aim at exploring the ways for solving the region's problems. |
