This research is carried out after investigating the current situation of mutton industry development in Qingyuan city, from mutton breeds, breeding methods, breeding dimensions and feed structures, analyzes and summarizes the developmental actuality, advantages and the existing problems of the mutton industry, and further investigates the upgrade developmental strategy for the mutton industry. First of all, develops artificial meadow, changes the breeding patterns and expands the scale of breeding to improve the benefit of breeding. Secondly, increases the utilization of superior sheep breeds to realize the improved variety of mutton product. Finally, the correct guidance of government, builds good communicating and cooperated platform for partner of industry, and also both increases the governmental input and the infrastructure construction.
