Abstract:Six strains of Lactobacillus were isolated from traditional indigenous dairy products, piglet’s feces and chicken intestine, designated as LS, LT, LJ1, LJ2, LZ1 and LZ2, respectively. Identifications were done according to bacteria morphology, physiological and biochemical properties,16S rDNA sequence homology analysis, and their characteristics were researched. The results showed that LS, LT, LJ1 and LZ2 strains were Lactobacillus brevis, LJ2 strain was Enterococcus faecium, LZ1 strain was Lactobacillus acidophilus. All of the six strains had obvious bacteriostasis effect on Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
