摘    要:甜玉米果皮厚度直接决定了子粒的柔嫩度,果皮越厚,柔嫩度越差。因此可以通过测量果皮厚度来间接判断甜玉米的柔嫩度,并通过选育薄果皮的品种提高甜玉米品质。本试验对65份普甜、127份超甜玉米自交系进行了初步果皮厚度测定和筛选,并提出了广州地区甜玉米果皮厚度四级分级标准:薄(X≤75μm)、较薄(75μm95μm),供育种者参考应用。

Abstract:Pericarp thickness is an important quality trait of sweet corn,which decides seed tenderness directly.The thicker the pericarp is,the worse the tenderness is.So the tenderness of sweet corn could be determined indirectly by measuring the pericarp thickness,and quality be improved by selecting the thin pericarp varieties.This test had been carried out for the preliminary evaluation and screening of pericarp thickness on 65 sweet corns(su) and 127 super sweet corns(sh2),and proposed a standard of grading which categorized pericarp thickness into 4 grades for sweet corns planted in Guangzhou: thin(X≤75 μm),relatively thin(75 μm95 μm).The standard could be applied in breeding and production of sweet corn.
