The Applications of Electronic Nose in the Grain Quality Discrimination

The odour of grain is in many countries the primany criterion of fitness for consumption.The electronic nose is a novel biomimetic apparatus,which simulates human olfaction to analyze and examine volatility gas.Special references to applications to grain quality,such as food mildew,pests and stored duration were summarized then. The outlooks of electronic nose applied in grain quality were discussed lastly.
