Abstract: | Avian osseous (mandible, thoracic and caudolateral processes and furculum) foreign body impaction in the larynx, pharynx, and esophagus is described in three cats and one dog. All animals were presented because of gagging. Radiographic assessment revealed the foreign body in each animal. Each foreign body was successfully removed. Three of the animals recovered uneventfully, and one had a persistent change of voice. |
