Abstract:Citrus blue mold is a major postharvest disease of citrus in the storage and transportation engineering, which can result in huge economic losses. It is mainly caused by Penicillium italicum and P. digitatum. In order to effectively prevent and control the occurrence and development of Citrus blue mold, and provide a scientific basis for the transportation and preservation of Citrus, in this paper, the main technical means and preparations of physical, chemical and biological control of Citrus blue mold were summarized, the advantages and disadvantages of different control methods were analyzed, and the follow-up research direction and strategy on controlling Citrus blue mold were put forward. It is pointed out that further studying the pathogenesis of Citrus blue mold, exploring the prevention and control mechanism of biogenic preparations on Citrus blue mold, and promoting the combination of biological control method and physical or chemical control method, could lay a foundation for the development of new drugs and establish an integrated control management strategy.
