拟南芥翻译起始因子eIF5B-1调控种子萌发的分子机制

摘    要:为明确eIF5B-1基因在拟南芥种子萌发过程中的生理作用。以拟南芥翻译起始因子的T-DNA插入突变体eif5b-1为材料。测定突变体eif5b-1种子的萌发速率,同时利用多聚核糖体谱和qRT-PCR的研究方法,对拟南芥野生型(WT)和eif5b-1突变体的萌发过程进行了研究。结果表明:1)eif5b-1突变体种子的萌发率下降;2)eif5b-1突变体种子萌发过程中多聚核糖体的形成受到影响;3)eif5b-1突变体中ABI1、ABI3、ABI4、ABI5及DOG1基因的转录受到影响;4)eif5b-1突变体选择性地影响ABI4和DOG1基因的翻译效率。
