The paper summarized the effect on the construction project of millions beef cattle basement since it was put in schedule,which was mainly on enlarging breeding scale,powerful technical support,improved upgrading rate of good varieties,increased forage processing rate,slaughter,process and production established and started production,preliminary perfection on operation mechanism of beef cattle industry.It also analyzed the facing problems on low farming benefit of beef cattle and unbalanced matching techniques.It further predicted the new tendency on industrial policy,consumption structure,management idea and the developmental trend on beef cattle industry in Zhangye city.At last,it proposed 4 suggestions on the construction of millions beef cattle basement project.
