Commercialization of Agriculture in Fenghe River Basin of Zhili in Ming and Qing Dynasties

The Ming and Qing dynasties were important periods for the commercialization of agriculture in the Fenghe River Basin of Zhili.The Fenghe River Basin was rich in aquatic plants with superior environment,which was suitable for planting crops.With the increase of population,the commercialization level of agriculture in the Fenghe River Basin in the Ming and Qing dynasties continuously increased.It was mainly manifested in the commercialization of crops and the development of municipal economy,both of which had broken the local self-sufficient natural economy in terms of content and form.This paper discusses the commercialization of agriculture in the Fenghe River Basin of Zhili during the Ming and Qing dynasties,hoping to extend the study of social and economic history,regional cultural history and local economic development around the capital.
