| Abstract: | The study was carried out to evaluate the applicability of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in detecting tumors in the abdomen of the dog. Abdominal ultrasound and MRI were performed on 8 dogs having a mass lesion on abdominal radiography. MR images were obtained in the transverse, sagittal and dorsal planes using T1- and T2-weighted spin echo pulse sequences. There was good visual correlation of the lesion site by MRI and ultrasonography (US). |
