| Abstract: | The operative technique of pyelolithotomy for the removal of renal calculi in the dog is described. Three selected cases are used to illustrate its application. Pyelolithotomy may be a better technique than nephrolithotomy for the removal of renal calculi that have enlarged the renal pelvis and proximal ureter outside the confines of the renal parenchyma. |
