醉妃红紫薇选育和栽培技术

随着城市进程的不断扩展,清新空气、美化环境,是众望所归;醉妃红紫薇对二氧化硫、氟化氢及氯气的抗性强,能吸入有害气体,是城市、工矿绿化最理想的树种。醉妃红紫薇作为新选育的一个品种,以花期长、花色艳、生长旺盛而闻名,其花期可延长到10月中旬,当一般紫薇花卉退去繁华,唯独醉妃红紫薇开热烈奔放、姹紫嫣红。近三年来,宜都市林业局林业技术推广站与三川绿化发展有限公司共同选育培育醉妃红紫薇300万株,极大推动了宜都花卉苗木产业的发展,醉妃红紫薇2013年10月荣获第八届中国花卉博览会优秀奖,2014年1月注册商标,2014年2月醉妃红申请版权保护。2014年10月获得中国·武汉绿色产品交易会金奖。
