Study on the Amount of Different Potassium Fertilizer for Good Quality Rice

The amount of potassium fertilizer on the yield,disease resistance and the economic benefit analysis were studied on the good quality rice cultivars Jiafuzhan and Yiyou 99.The results showed that with the increase in the amount of potassium fertilizer,strain rate for sheath blight of Jiafuzhan in the early season decreased,the growth stage of every treatment appeared no significant difference,but plant height,seed setting rate,yield and other traits all enhanced.The yield between high potassium treatment and low potassium treatment had highly significant difference.There was significant difference in the yield between middle potassium treatment and low potassium treatment.These indicated that suitable increase of the amount of potassium fertilizer should be favorable to raising grain yield under this test condition.Cost-effectiveness by increasing potassium fertilizer,both in early season and late season,suitable increase of the amount of potassium fertilizer had significant increase production benefit,especially in late season.
