| Abstract: | Manzganiese ions. are potent blocking argenits of synaptic transmission at the neuromuscular junction in the frog. The main site of action is the presynaptic nerve terminal, where the ions decr-ease the amount of transmitter liberated by a never impulse. The inihibition produced by manganese is reversible. |
