| Abstract: | Some insect transposons and their basic structure and application in insect transgenesis were. outlined And special attention was put on the structure, transformation mechanism and selection markers of piggyBac transposon which was recently discovered and efficient in gene transformation. The germ-line transformation of the silkworm Bombyx mori L. using a PiggyBac transposon also was discussed. |
