基于颜色的图像检索方法的研究

为了从海量图像库中准确、快速地查找所需要的图像信息,基于内容的图像检索技术应运而生并且成为学术界研究的热点.基于内容的图像检索主要是利用图像的可视化底层特征,如颜色、纹理、形状等特征进行检索.从颜色特征出发对现有的基于颜色的图像检索技术方法进行分析,从最初的颜色直方图到后来的基于颜色空间特征的图像检索和模糊颜色直方图,最后在此基础上对今后的研究做了简要的概述.

Research of Color-Based Image Retrieval

In order to search the required image information accurately and quickly from the massive image database,CBIR(Content-Based Image Retrieval) emerged and soon became a hotspot of academic research.CBIR makes use of the low-level visual features,such as color,texture and shape.This paper analyzes the existing color-based image retrieval methods from the aspect of color feature,from the original color histogram to the image retrieval based on color-spatial feature and the fuzzy color histogram.Finally,an overview to the future research is presented.
