明代山西边垦与边军饷银

明朝，我国的北部边疆，一直是从事国防活动的重点地区，朝廷曾在“九边”（甘州、固原、宁夏、延绥、大同、宣府、蓟州、辽东、山西三关各镇）及其附近大搞农垦，即分别以军屯、民屯、商屯等方式加强边防建设，从而有力地支援了塞外的军事活动，促进了边疆农业经济的发展。并且，由于边屯与军饷关系的相互作用，逐渐对国家的田赋征收产生了较大的影响——引起其管理上的变革。在当时的边垦与边防的建设过程中，山西的边疆地位和山西人的作用尤其显的重要，在此我们有必要对其进行探讨和研究。
