Abstract:In an acute toxicity test,Tilapia nilotica(34.89±9.99 g) were exposed to six different concentrations of fenpropathrin in water:0,0.4,0.6,0.8,1.0 and 1.5 μg/L for 6,12,24,48 and 96 h,respectively,and the changes in activity of acetylcholinesterase(AChE),glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(GPT) and glutathione(GSH) in fish tissues were detected.The activity of AChE did not change significantly among the different concentrations at the same time(P>0.05),but it changed significantly among different time points at the same concentration(P<0.01).The activity of GPT varied a lot with the increasing concentration of fenpropathrin and exposure time,but there was no significant difference.It demonstrated that the fenpropathrin took little effect in the activity of GPT on the liver of T.nilotica at low concentrations.The activity of GSH was significantly different among the different concentrations of fenpropathrin and exposure time,and the GSH activity in the 6 h experiment was higher than that in the control and then reduced gradually.
