| Abstract: | A 7-year-old cockatiel presented with a 1 week history of right leg lameness. A renal adenocarcinoma invading and constricting the right ischiatic nerve resulted in disuse atrophy of the affected leg and radiographic evidence of osteopenia. This report illustrates the natural behavior, radiographic, and pathologic appearance of malignant renal tumors in birds. |
