| Abstract: | In this paper,the traditional use of bamboo wood and the decline of the bamboo ware were retrospected.The outstanding modern values of bamboo ware in the new millennium were analysed.It is emphasized that the design of bamboo ware should be combined with modern design theories.Some techniques of using bamboo in the modern product design are illustrated. |
