ON CLASSIFICATION OF CULTIVARS OF AZALEAS IN DANDONG, LIAONING PROVINCE, AND SOME EXPERIENCE IN THEIR CULTIVATION |

| Abstract: | A horticultural classification scheme for the cultivars of azaleas (Rhododendron spp.) in Dandong was proposed and discussed.These so called cultivars or varieties are really menber of a mixture consisting of many species,varieties,forms,hydrids and cultivars which all belong to sub-genus Anthodendron,Series Azalea,In addition,experiences in their cultivation and propagation by cuttings and in Dandong were summarized. |
