STUDIES ON THE REGULAR PATTERNS AND WAYS OF KOREAM PINE SEED SPREADING BY NUCIFRAGA CARYOCATACTES

The Koream pine seedlings are seldom found in primary Koream pine forests but many are often discovered in Picea and Abes forests. The phenomenon has been difficult to be explained for a long time. It was studied deeply in the paper and the results indicated that Nucifraga caryocatactes is a main spreader of Koream pine seeds. The living patterns of Nucifraga caryocatactes and the spreading ways of Koream pine seeds were also studied over a long period of time, and the secret has been revealed for Koream pine renewed in the Picea and Abes forests.
