| Abstract: | This paper reviewed the research and developmental progresses in transgenic rice,and analyzed the bio-safety of food and cultivated rice varieties,wild rice species and paddy weed species due to the development of transgenic rice.Based on the comparison between the profits and defects of transgenic rice,some countermeasures were provided for solving the potential bio-safety problems due to transgenic rice in China. |
