Abstract:The critical value of Cl tolerance is 700 ppm in the neutral purple soil. The suitable Cl concentration of the soil is 100 to 500 ppm. Correspondingly, the Cl contents of the stalk and the leaf are 2.11 to 7.03%, and the Cl contents of taproot are 0.912 to 2.53%. In the above range, the yield and the quality of radish are not affected by Cl, and Cl can make the NO_3-N content of taproot reducing, thus, the quality of taproot is improving.
