转基因杨树的研究及其生物安全评价

摘    要:杨树基因组测序的完成使杨树成为研究林木分子生物学最重要的模式植物,为杨树基因工程的发展提出了巨大的机遇与挑战.本文简要介绍了世界转基因作物的发展状况以及安全性评估,重点从杨树抗虫、抗逆及改善材质的基因工程等方面综述了杨树基因工程的发展及其相关安全评价,指出对转基因杨树的安全评价应遵循有关转基因法规结合自身特点进行,重点考察其生态风险.本文针对杨树基因工程发展中存在的问题,提出应积极开发具有我国自主知识产权的新型基因,发展转基因新方法,推进我国杨树基因工程的健康发展.

Abstract:With the completion of poplar genome sequencing, poplar would become one of the most important model plant especially in tree molecular biology, which brought the great opportunities and challenges for poplar genetic engineering research and development. In this review, we briefly introduced the development of the world genetic modified crops and their biosafety assessment with emphasis on the poplar genetic engineering and relative biosafety assessment in the aspects of insect resistance, stress tolerance and timber quality. We proposed that poplar biosafety assessment should follow the issued regulations and be carried out based on its specific characters. It is necessary and urgent to develop our own intellectual property right to promote the healthy development of the poplar genetic engineering in China.
