梅州是全球最大的客家人聚居地,是世界客家文化的中心.客家文化承载着客家人的希望与追求,展示了客家社会从物质到精神、从经济到文化的综合成果.客家人聚落地的选址与规划,围龙屋的设计、营造及其对园林元素的糅和应用,凸显了梅州园林明显的客家文化生态特性,体现出浓厚的客家文化特质和内涵,为人类居住文化和园林文化的发展作出了积极贡献.在探析客家文化及其传统聚落特征的基础上,提出了梅州园林与客家文化融合发展的一些对策思考.

Fusion development of Meizhou gardens and Hakka culture

Meizhou city is the world''s largest Hakka settlements and the world center of Hakka culture. Hakka culture carries the hopes and pursuit of Hakka people, showing the synthesis results of Hakka community from matter to spirit, from economy to culture. The site selection and planning of Hakka settlements, Round-Dragon Houses''design, creating and its application to the landscape elements,which highlight the obvious Meizhou Hakka culture landscape ecological characteristics and reflect the strong Hakka cultural characteristics and meaning, make a positive contribution to the development of human living culture and landscape culture. Based on the analysis of the Hakka culture and traditional settlement characteristic, the paper proposes some countermeasures on the fusion development of the Meizhou gardens and Hakka culture.
