Abstract:Temperature is one of the most important environmental factors affecting growth,physiological and biochemical activities of fish directly or indirectly.Temperature affects growth and metabolism of fish.Protein is one of the most important macronutrient to fish growth,metabolism and protein synthesis of fish are significantly affected by protein level of feed and are regulated by other factors.For protein requirements are different under different temperatures,and it is of important practical significance to study effects of different temperature and protein level on fish.Thus,not only protein needs could be adjusted according to temperature changes,but also the cost of feed and pollution of aquatic system could be decreased.In this paper,effects of the environmental temperature,protein level as well as their mutual on biochemical processes of fish(metabolism,protein synthesis and gene expression) were summarized with the purpose of exploring the mechanism and providing some references for the future research.
