水稻品种对稻纵卷叶螟的抗性鉴定

利用人工接卵和田间自然诱发鉴定1026个水稻品种(系)对稻纵卷叶螟的抗性,筛选出27个具有不同程度抗性的品种(系),其中黄金波品种可作为杂交育种的抗源,西海89品种具有抗病(穗颈瘟)以及丰产性好等特点,很有利用价值。此外,对抗性机制进行了初步研究和讨论.

SCREENING TESTS FOR THE RESISTANCE OF RICE VARIETIES TO LEAFFOLDERS (CNAPHALOCROCIS MEDINALIS GUENEE)

The resistance of rice varieties to the rice leaffolder(Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenée) was determined both in the screen-house and in the field.Twenty one out of 1026 rice varieties which were previously selected from the screen-house observation were evaluated in the field tests. For the screen-house experiments, inoculation with the matured eggs(black-headed stage) onto the heading stage rice plants were conducted. In the field tests, natural infestation of rice plants by the leaffolders were assayed in a randomized plots with three replicates, and the field experiments were repeated for four years in 1980-1984.The results showed that seven varieties rated as hightly resistant and twenty as resistant. The most resistant variety Huang Jinbo could be used as the resistant source for breeding. The variety of Xi-hai 89 also showed moderate resistance to rice blast, which generally giving higher yield than local varieties. This variety was recommended for both resistance breeding and/or direct cultivation. Preliminary studies on the mechanisms of the. resistance were discussed.
