Abstract: | Abstract. Several diseases are known, including a number of inflammatory origin, in which the role of free radicals has been proved. In the elimination of reactive oxygen intermediates, SOD, catalase and GPase have a significant role. A study of the activities of these enzymes and of the lipid peroxidation in carp with swimbladder inflammation showed that the formation of free radicals plays a direct or indirect role in the development and/or progress of this inflammation. |
