| Abstract: | Floods and drought are the major natural disasters of Songhua River in modem times. The disasters produced many negative influ- ences ： casualties and property losses ; reduction of agricultural production and income ; a large number of victims of the migration, social order disorder; caused damage to traffic, water conservancy and environment in different degrees. |
