Development mode of ecological prataculture demonstration park on saline-alkali grassland in western Jilin Province,China

Natural and anthropic factors which cause the degradation of grassland in west of Jilin Province,China were analyzed.The construction of ecological prataculture demonstration park could be divided into two phases.The first phase is ecological restoration.If the soil is so degraded that vegetation cannot grow on it,some methods must be used to improve it,such as blending sand,grass litter and chemical into soil,washing and irrigating,scarification and fertilization.If the soil condition could support plant to grow,the vegetation can be restored by enclosure,planting grass which has high tolerance to alkali and saline,and inserting cornstalk.The second phase is virtuous circle.The prataculture and livestock production need to be not only emphasized separately but also need to be combined together well enough.In addition,the part of processing the agriculture and livestock production should be added into the process of manufacturing.Sound cycle of economic activities can be shaped by industry,commerce,prataculture and livestock production facilitating to each other.The predominance to construction of ecological prataculture demonstration park on the west of Jilin Province was analyzed.The development object was put forward.At last,the plan for the beginning,metaphase and specified future date was designed.
