采种温度及贮藏年限对籽瓜种子生活力的影响

摘    要:在人工控制的温度条件下研究了采种温度对籽瓜种子生活力的影响,结果表明45~55℃的干燥温度不影响籽瓜种子的生活力;但2℃的低温会显著降低籽瓜种子的生活力,而遭遇0℃及其以下低温2h以上就会使籽瓜种子失去种用价值。对不同年份采收的种子进行的发芽试验表明,籽瓜种子的生活力随贮藏年限的延长而降低,黑籽籽瓜种子的有效贮藏期限约为2~3a,红籽籽瓜种子的有效贮藏期限为4~5a。

Abstract:Effect of drying temperatures on seed viability of seedusing watermelon was studied under artificial tempertures. The results showed that drying under temperatures between 45~55℃ did not cause the seed viability decrease; while drying temperatures at or below 2℃ would cause noticeable decrease. The seeds would lost their viability completely if they exposed at 0℃ or lower temperatures for 2 h or longer time. Germination tests with seeds stored for various years indicated that seed viability of seedusing watermelon decreased gradually as the storage time prolonged. Available seed storage duration is about 2~3 years for black seed cultivars and 4~5 years for red seed cultivars.
