| Abstract: | Terpene bismaleimide (TBMI) is a novel additive-type polymaleimide. It is demonstrated, when comparing pure TBMI samples with bismaleimide (BMI). that the solubility and meltability of TBMI are better than those of BMI and the thermostability is similar to BMI. The mechanism of thermofission of TBMI was discussed and polymerization reaction of TBMI and DA was also investigated. These products are soluble in xylene. When it reacts with EP, high temperature resistance and good adhesion are achieved. |
