| Abstract: | A new aromatic alkine was isolated from the tuber of Sparganium stoloniferum . Its structure was assigned to be methyl 3,6-dihydroxy-2-[2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-ethynyl]benzoate (1) by spectroscopic methods. |
