摘    要:在详细分析虚拟样机技术内涵的基础上,给出了虚拟样机技术的定义。结合虚拟样机技术的典型应用成果,分析了虚拟样机技术的优点以及局限性。最后,对虚拟样机技术几个亟需研究的问题进行了分析。

Abstract:Virtual prototyping (VP) is a new modern design method, which has been widely applied in almost all areas. A suggested definition of VP was given after the elaborated study and analysis of the meaning and component of VP in the present work. The advantages and limitations of VP were analyzed based on a survey of some current typical successful VP applications in engineering. At last some research trends of VP to make a full use of VP was recommended.
