Abstract:The experiment was conducted to study the effect of feeding raw and processed full fat soybean on the growth of broilers in different periods. There are 280 one day old avian broilers were randomly divided into 7 groups with each group involving 4 replicates and 10 birds per replicate. Two experimental diets containing 15% processed and 15% raw soybean, respectively and one control diet containing soybean meal and soybean oil were fed to the broilers. The results showed that feeding diet containing raw full fat soybean caused significant decrease in daily weight gain and feed efficiency, but the influence on feed intake was not remarkable. While the effect of feeding processed soybean can be similar with or even better than that of feeding soybean meal combined with soybean oil. The daily weight gain of the broilers fed raw soybean diet were reduced by 6.59% and 10.73%( P <0.05), and feed efficiencies were decreased by 10.52%( P <0.01) and 6.48%, respectively, comparing with those of feeding control and processed soybean diet. Daily weight gain for broilers fed processed soybean diet was improved by 4.64% comparing with that of feeding control diet, but the correspoding feed efficiency was decreased by 3.79%. Weight gain and feed efficiency for broilers fed raw soybean diet in the first stage and control diet during the later stage were increased by 17.43%( P <0.05) and 7.14%, respectively, comparing with those of feeding raw soybean diet in the lide experiment period . It can be concluded that the growth compensation effect for the broilers was significant when antinutritional factors (ANFs) are eleminated from diet inactivated in the later growth stage. Daily weight gain for broilers fed raw soybean diet in the later growth stage were 8.23% and 11.41% lower, respectively, than that of feeding control and processed soybean diet, and the feed efficiencies were 14.95%( P < 0.05) and 8.24% lower, respectively, representing that the short term effect of ANFs on broilers was notable. feed intake for broilers fed difference of diets showed no significant difference during the entire growth stage. The mortality for broilers also showed no significant difference between the three groups.
