番茄新品种浙杂809的选育

从亚洲蔬菜研究中心和美国引进材料的杂交后代中，进行株系选择，有效地将生长势强、抗病、果肉果皮厚的性状转育到稳定株系9709上，并以此作母本，与从合作903后代中分离出的大果型稳定株系9803作父本配成组合。经组合力测定，生产性试验和各地试种示范，选育出了高抗TMV、耐叶霉病、优质、大果的有限生长类型番茄一代杂种-浙杂809。

Breeding of a New Tomato Variety ‘Zheza 809'

Zheza 809 is a new determinate tomato F1 hybrid . Its female parent, 9709, was selected from vigorous, resistant and firm fruit generation oi F1 hybrid, which crossed with accessions introduced from Asia Vegetable Research and Development Center and United States. The male parent, 9803, was chosen from separating generations of Hezuo 903 F1, a famous fresh market tomato variety of Shanghai. In Yangtze River area, Zheza 809 is suitable for house culture in winter andspring, for open field in autumn and high land in summer as well. Zheza 809 showed good characteristic of strong resistance to TMV, high quality and good yield.
